Our Rheumatology and Immunology Practice

Early and differential diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory rheumatoid diseases. Focus is on various forms of arthritis (such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis spondyloarthropathy),  connective tissue diseases (such as lupus erythematosus, myositis, Sjogren's syndrome) and vasculitis (such as Wegener's granulomatosis (GPA), Churg-Strauss syndrome (eGPA), microscopic polyangiitis (MPA), arteritiis temporal (GCA), Hautvaskulitis).   

Diagnostics

ECG, stress ECG, long-term RR, lung function testing, ultrasound abdominal organs, ultrasound joints (early erosions), rheumaSCAN of the hands, ultrasound vessels, capillaroscopy, laboratory diagnostics, including general and specific diagnostic and prognostic parameters (in cooperation with the HOPA), interdisciplinary consultations with other specialists (e.g. dermatology, pediatrics, orthopedics, radiology, pulmonology, coagulation experts). Also on-site X-ray, MRI, CT, PET-CT, angiography, sonography and DXA bone densitometry.

Therapy

Oriented along national and international guidelines or recommendations, introduction and control of standard therapies, therapies for refractory/refractory patients, therapy with biologics (such as etanercept, certolizumab, infliximab, adalimumab, abatacept, golimumab, rituximab, tocilizumab), day-care hospital with infusion centers (e.g. cyclophosphamide, belimumab and other biologics), clinical treatment trials.
